You do not have to rinse. It is not a soap it is lotion like. Put some on the toilet paper for your last wipe. It will cleanse and soothe. **Q: does this bottle come sealed? My came unsealed and leaking.** A: Most of my orders, including this last one had the container either wrapped or the top taped which prevented any leaking. I don't even find this product sealed in the drugstore. Several years ago Amazon was quick to replace the only one that that ever came leaking.
