I bought it specifically to take on holiday to Canada as you can't seem to buy a hot airbrush which works at 110v. There are travel hairdryers which you can switch over to use at 110v but this was the only type of air styler that I could find which could be used at 110v. There is not a switch to flick it over but it is safe to use at 110v. I read so many reviews to find a product which could be used at both 240v and 110v! **Q: Does it spin?** A: No it doesn't spin automatically, but there is a release button which you can use to stop your hair getting tangled, but I've never had to use this feature even though my hair is quite thick. I have had the curler which spins as you use it but this product is so much better. **Q: I’m looking for a jumbo heated brush but not using hot air. is this the right product?** A: The barrel of the brush heats up and I use it on dry/almost dry hair. Very pleased. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product but be careful on the hottest setting! *by H***E on 21 September 2022* I bought this as it can be used at 110v as well as 240v and I needed it to take on holiday instead of my usual hotairbrush. It acts very differently than a hotairbrush as it is just the barrel that gets hot. But I was very impressed with the way it works! Just rough dry your hair then use this brush to style it into shape. It gives your hair shape and volume. You can use it in-between washes to re-style your hair BUT it did dry my hair out doing this and damage the ends of my hair as it pulls if there is a bit of a tangle. I think it is better to use it on the lower of the two settings when re-styling in-between washes. I wash my hair either daily or every other day. I think this is a great product but care needs to be taken that it does not heat damage your hair. It's impossible to find a hotairbrush that can be used at 110v so this was a very good alternative hair styler and I will use it sometimes at home too.
