Review: Excellent rod for the money! - Well first of all the quality of the rod seems excellent for the very low price or even at any price. I have Extensive fishing experience but new to the World of BFS. The model I purchased has a ridiculously light action and weighs less than my ultralight Spinning rod. It can cast anything from 1/32nd of an ounce to about 1/8 or so Maybe a little more. I purchased this mainly for panfish, small bass and maybe some trout. But a few weeks ago, while shad fishing, I caught about an 8-pound striper The rod bent in nearly a complete circle all the way down to the handle but held firm never broke so it's surprisingly strong! So, I would highly recommend this this rod

The grip feels really good in the hand, its super light weight, enough backbone to handle redfish and has plenty of sensitivity. A couple minor setbacks is no hook keeper and I would of liked to see a little less spacing between the first 2 guides.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Solid Wood Handle????? Not unless painted plastic meets that definition

The fishing rod guides seem nice and appear to be Fuji quality. However the “Solid Wooden Handles are not actually wood but plastic painted to appear as wood. this made the pile very slippery in my hands. Combine that with the weight of the reel on the top side and the rod wanted to continually flip around so the reel was on the bottom. The lack of quality grip made keeping the reel on the top nearly impossible when my hands got wet.
