Review: Very Nice Looking Bike - We purchased the 20" Missy for our daughter, who is seven years old and 51" tall. We had considered going with the next size up but decided against it. It was a good choice because we had to put the seat on this bike into its lowest position. The bike seems very well made. However, it's more difficult to assemble than advertised. A few items (e.g., the front brakes and the rear gears cassette) needed some fine-tuning adjustments. I would guess that some of the complaints from other reviewers (e.g., slipping gears) are related to not making these adjustments. If you are familiar with bikes, these items will be pretty straightforward. If you're unfamiliar with bikes and don't enjoy the assembly process for toys and other new things for your child, you should follow the advice on the box itself and take it to a local bike mechanic for assembly. Overall, the bike is the same quality as much more expensive bikes that we looked at in local bike shops. As you can see from the pictures, it has a great "look," and our daughter liked it when we surprised her with it. The basket was a hit. We appreciate her stepping up to hand brakes and a bike with multiple gears. We are pleased with this purchase and recommend it to other parents looking for a nice bike for their child.
