The zipper is also very sturdy. We have three German Shepherds and I got this for my son because the puppies look just like our dogs...there was even an all-black one (we have an all-black shepherd as well as a traditional tri-color and a long-stock). My son immediately fell in love but the squeak he let out when he saw the puppies was entirely worth it all.
