I'm building a starter system for my son but I thought it would be interesting to insert it into my system. Goes between my venerable Wharfdale 2050 amp and my P3rs. Initial listening was positive because it's brighter than the phono stage on the Wharfdale but that brightness turned into a brittle jarring quality after only a few tracks. Not too worried with my son's system as it's feeding a NAD that's tonally on the warm side.
