Life straw community is a high-volume point-of-use water purifier with built-in safe storage that makes contaminated water safe to drink. Independently tested by WHO meets highest performance category (3 stars - comprehensive protection). Meets us EPA drinking water standards. Easy to assemble, fill, and use. Filtration rate 12L/hour, and serves about 75-100 people per day.

Review: be sure to store where filter won't freeze in the winter - This has been an awesome addition to our water supply at our camp. We have a lot on a small lake. Wells are not cheap. We purchased this and use it to purify the lake water to have drinking water. Would never know the water came from a lake. Only drawback is that when we emptied the water out at the end of the season, it didn't empty out of the filter. It froze and cracked over the winter (northern Maine). $80 learning curve for us. Would totally recommend.

Previous trip we did not have it and my husband drank the RV campsite water and ended up with parasites and was sick for a month. So we purchased this and used it daily. It holds several gallons of filtered water and we didn't get sick this time. I would highly recommend purchasing this system for trips or home use when the power grid has been shut down because of a disaster. Sometimes if you live in an area that have boil water orders, I'm sure this would work fine. We actually shared our water with another set of campers and we all have plenty of fresh clean water. Best purchase ever.
