The hardest part about putting this shed together for me was getting a level ground to put it on with the hard West Texas dirt. Once I got my pavers level this was a very easy assembly. If your ground is off even in the slightest the doors won’t meet up evenly, so be very diligent in creating a level ground for your shed. It was a good excuse for a couple of buddies and I to get together and work outside and get some good bro time away from the wives and kids. All in all it took us right at about 8 hours of work time. Obviously there was some down time for beers and camaraderie. Instructions were straight forward. However, some of the instructions referred to numbered products that were actually labeled by letters and sometimes vice versa, but easy enough to find the correct product with the pictures. If you live in the desert or hot climates, I would not suggest you use this as a workshop because it is like a sauna. I use this for storage for yard tools and other outdoor toys I own. Plenty of space. I kept the steel trusses intact, and they all just slipped out easily for compact stacking during moving. Keeping them assembled helped save a lot of time. It took me qiute a bit of time to reassemble, close to about 2/3 of the original setup time. Even though I had originally installed the screws quite tightly with a variable speed drill, they backed out easily and tightened up well again during reassembly. ( Both times, I set up the shed on a wooden deck, and I was happy that the entire frame and decking for the base was held together with construction wood screws. That allowed me to also move and reassemble the deck along with the shed.) I put it back together using the original assembly booklet, and once again, as needed during the original assembly, I ended up calling Lifetime's customer service for some assistance during door alignment. It should be noted that even a year later, Lifetime's customer service staff were quick and eager to help me out, even though they had info that I had bought the shed long ago. Impressive customer service by phone and email! **Q: Does it have a floor?** A: Yes all Lifetime Sheds come with a high impact slip resistant floor. A foundation is recommended. **Q: Can anyone confirm the color? Half of the picture look grey and not tan** A: The name of the color is "Desert Sand" which is a beige/tan color. It can appear gray in some lighting. Otherwise awesome. *by D***M on May 21, 2025* These must be perfectly level when you install them or the pieces won’t fit together.. go ahead and invest in Stanley power levelers, they will save you so much time. Build the deck as they instruct you to do, and then use the levelers to make it right. If it sags, you’re screwed. If it bows, you’re screwed. Then, assembly takes all day. Two people.
