Review: Good quality - Thick, heavy and high quality
Review: Subaru Outback version not ready for market - All the 5-star reviews seem to be for the pickup versions. I bought the 2015-19 Subaru Outback version, and found it to be a half-baked product. First-off, there are no photos on desertcart or the TacoNets website that show how it is supposed to be installed. It's not a seat-back net like Subaru's OEM cargo net--instead this thing is meant to stretch across the tailgate. Perhaps I would have realized that if I had read the product description more carefully, but, again IF THERE WERE PICTURES... Also, it came WITHOUT ANY INSTRUCTIONS--just a bewildering paper template and a link to their website, which only has instructions for the Tacoma, Tundra, and Silverado/Sierra products--nothing to help you with the Outback version. I eventually figured out you are supposed to drill 2-holes in car's interior paneling to attach the upper corner's of the net. It came with 2 oddly shaped plastic carabiners to connect the lower corners to the car's existing D-rings, but the carabiners aren't really the right shape for the purpose. I decided to try jury-rigging it across the seat-back (with my own carabiners) and it works OK like that, but it's a bit too loose. So ultimately, I'm going to return this net and get one from a company that has put more thought into their product.
