It was very cheap material wise which really surprised me because I am a fan of Ridgid. Don't buy it. Save up until you can spare $200 more and buy this Skil. It is really amazing. Accurate and square right out of the box. The rack and pinion fence adjustment is so good. Truly a well engineered tool. Lots of power and finally a saw that controls the dust fairly well. I have a lot of confidence in the saw which is important when working with a tool of this nature.
