One ball is sufficient for a good length scarf. It might seem a bit pricey per skein, but. It seemed to go a long way.

**Q: Is this yarn super chunky please**
A: No, I wouldn't say it was super chunky. It certainly knits like normal chunky. Nice to knit with, makes great hats. X

**Q: What size knitting needles is this recommended for to make a full length scarf?**
A: The generic needle size is #9 (5.5 mm) - but once you have done a swatch, you can then decide if you want to go up or down in needle size.

**Q: Is this yarn scratchy for hats?**
A: I made a scarf as a gift with mine. The Wool was very soft and I didn’t find it scratchy.

**Q: What size crotchet hook needed for scarf or poncho?**
A: I knitted 2 scarves. One with 4mm needles and one with 5mm needles. I was pleased with both of them.  I’m not sure about crochet hooks but I imagine they’ll be the same

Lovely colour and value for money. I had no tangles or knots. The yarn was thicker in some cream parts and that made it a challenge in tension.
