Review: My 15 year old Westie - I have a 15 year old Westie (9 kg) male with both back legs lame. It has been a concern as he seemed to deteriorate quite quickly. Too old for surgery and has other age related medical issues. As a last resort I bought him one of these trolleys. Being realistic I did not expect great success. However once assembled, they supply all the bits including Allen keys and a video on desertcart. I found assembly and adjustments quite straight forward, plus there were extra fixing screws etc. Placing the dog in the assembled trolley is quite straight forward. Once front and back legs are in place only one retaining clip is needed to fasten or release the dog. One bit of advice for male dogs with testicles is to make sure the testicles are clear of the two rings which support the hind legs, i.e. the testicles should be behind the rings. Some minor adjustments may be needed (not to the testicles but the frame) , relatively easily done. I was quite surprised at how quickly he adapted to the trolley. What helped was putting his collar and lead on, as if going for a walk and gently coaxing the dog to walk. Although old and frail he now walks quite happily around our lawn and has a new lease of life. We are both extremely pleased. The trolley is well made, sturdy and functions well. Obviously an old fella like mine does not charge around as a younger dog would. I hope this brief review will encourage those with elderly dogs like mine to try the trolley. I was sceptical but pleased with the quality and and practical outcome. He can totter around outside on the lawn and do his bits and bobs outside, so it has practical and hygiene advantages as well. All round very pleased. Being an older dog the frame supports them and they can stand up by themselves when eating and drinking. It has transformed him being able to have some independence again. It has made me very happy seeing a great improvement in his well being. Happy to answer any questions.
Review: Great dog wheelchair for price - I'm very pleased with this after being unsure how it would be. I got the small for my jack Russell/corgi cross and it is ideal. It has lots of adjustments for length, width, height and tension of rear leg supports which adds or decreases height as well., and the straps around the neck/shoulders/chest also adjust which sets the height of the front. It is lightweight and she easily rolls over stuff up to nearly the height of the wheel itself. I was sceptical how she would turn around in it but it was very easy from the off as the wheels have enough flexibility in them to not cause a problem. The overall width/span between the wheels is not too wide but enough to be hard to tip over (although not sure on bigger dog sizes?), although she does catch them on the door-frame sometimes so keep that in mind. Overall I'm very pleased with it and i'm not sure what more you could get from more expensive ones, particularly for small dogs.

**Q: What are the key features on your wheelchair which make your wheelchairs better then those inexpensive ones?**
A: We use high quality solid aluminum round bars. Our legs are held in place with screws and will not slip. We use thick large neoprene padding and strap which add to the support and comfort of a pet’s leg with no injury. We use solid wheels.

**Q: Why do you use weight in your advertisements but say we must measure our pet for a proper fit?**
A: Weight is only used as a guide. You must measure your pet. Each adjustable wheelchair size will only adjust from its min to max adjustments, this will tell you if that size will fit. If not then the buyer can look at the other adjustable sizes.

**Q: I have a Large size Dachshund that weighs 15kg. Why can’t I just order a Small to Medium size wheelchair?**
A: Don’t order the L just because you have a large size Dachshund. Your Dachshund may only need the M wheelchair; the only way to find out is to measure your pet. Even though the M says 7-14 kg it may fit your dog because we use weight only as a guide.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great starter cart

Actually pretty impressed with this for the price. Quality is okay and comes with lots of extra nuts and bolts as well as all the correct allen keys to adjust. Pretty easy to assemble. You can adjust the height and width to suit your dog. The materials seem pretty sturdy including the wheels. The harness at the front will need a little more adjusting and could be better quality but the leg spaces work fine and allow good movement. Great start if you are looking to introduce your pet to a cart but don't want to spend a fortune initially.
