File transfers from device to laptop or vice verse are very easy. It wasn’t too long ago that external drives were big bricks, this one can easily be traveled with or just kept in place on the back of your phone with MagSafe. Really my only complaint is that the cord length is too long to not get in the way when attached to the back of the phone, but too short to be attached to the laptop if you have limited desk space. During heavy transfers is does get a little warm but not near as much as other products I’ve used. Review: STRONG MAGNETS & SOLID DRIVE - So far so good. The drive is recognized by my phone and the transfer speeds are pretty good. It’s a decent size not being overly large and also not being too small and helps me grip my phone better. As far as the few complaints I’ve seen about the strength of the magnet, I had a hard time prying the thing away from my phone because of how strong the magnets are. I did not use the additional ring that came with the drive because I don’t need to. I own an iPhone 16 pro max and have a MagSafe compatible case because, well, who wouldn’t? I’ve been very impressed with the product so far. Read and write is on par with stated speeds and USB-C makes it compatible with almost any modern device you can throw at it. File transfers from device to laptop or vice verse are very easy.
