Review: Great for fun art afternoons - I bought these to do an art project with my nieces and nephews and it worked out great. They were very easy to paint and very cute to behold, and the tiny paddles are just adorable. To be honest, as adult spent a lot more time and had a lot more fun in decorating our boats than the Littles did – they were done in about ten minutes and we adults spent a lot more time with decorating our boats. Highly recommended.

**Q: Does the canoes float?**
A: don't know, haven't tried to float them

**Q: What are the rough dimensions?**
A: 11 1/4 ins long 1 1/4 high and 2 1/4 at widest dimension.

**Q: Do these come with the paddles?**
A: Yes they do come with paddles

**Q: The canoes in the picture have a light blue patina to them. Do they come that way or are they completely raw wood?**
A: Mine were raw wood.....they are quite sturdy and worked well for children to decorate and then have a race during our village's "Canoe Weekend".

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Educational project for Paddle to the Sea

We used these as a project in our homeschool co-op to accompany the book, Paddle to the Sea. The ideal would have been for the children to carve their own canoes, but they are only second-graders. Getting to sand and paint these, and then release them in our local creek, which does end up going through lake and locks like the one in the book was really fun!
