The pond is fed by a trickle of an artesian well coming out of a black hose. I thought this little turtle would add some whimsy and look nicer than the black hose. It really does! Instead of a trickle it does actually spouts! And though it’s some kind of resin it looks bronze metallic. The dog loves to use it as his drinking fountain. This purchase pleases me to a ridiculously unexpected level. Some things just tickle me, and this is one! Love it!
