Review: Fast but not resistant to flats or cuts - I bought these tires for my Specialized Levo Turbo SL ebike, November 2025. These slick tires were my best hope at breaking a PR on a local bike path here in OKC. These tires are fast. With TPU tubes, I was able to average 20.5 mph on this flat, paved, 10 mile trail (motor off, obviously). There is always glass around, sadly. I do my best to avoid the known glass piles but not good enough. There is a big gash in the tire, see included picture. About three months and 1500 miles, I will be replacing this tire. I ride at night mostly in the winter and can't risk a flat. Although, I did flat on Christmas but it was during the day by my car. (I call it a Christmas Day miracle. Ha!) I blamed the TPU tubes. The tires are fast but definitely not resistant to cuts or flats. At 50 psi it provides a comfortable ride and predictable performance. My only issues were that it was difficult to mount the tires on Giant CADEX carbon rims - very tight fit but a little soapy water helped get the job done. I’m pretty certain the tire sizing is just fine and the rims were slightly oversized.
