Great item, good price. ### ⭐ Dangerous *by L***E on 19 June 2026* I purchased the twin pack and in less than a year both of them gave up the ghost. I contacted Fireangel who sent me replacements. I thought this was great customer service but naturally dissatisfied that the alarms had broken so soon, when they had a supposed 10 year guarantee. One of the replacements has now developed a fault. Unfortunately the chirping sound it gave off really distressed our dog. Luckily my husband was home and able to remove the alarm. I don’t know what would have happened if the dog had been here alone. He was so anxious he was virtually climbing the walls. The worrying fact with the first faulty pair was one alarm chirped once and died. Again we were here to witness this and on testing the alarm found it no longer worked. If we had missed that audible noise we may not have tested the alarm for some time and not realised it wasn’t working. This could have had fatal consequences. I don’t believe these alarms can be trusted with saving someone’s life in the event of a fire.
