(If you’re not familiar with scleral lenses, they are RGP lenses that sit on the sclera (white part) of your eye and bridge over the cornea. You fill them with saline before raising them to your eye for insertion. If you have irregular corneas they will take them out of the equation. The lenses are larger than soft lenses.)
