It is pretty heavy but no problem with 2 fairly strong people. My daughter and I were able to set it up and folks it up. I like the legs. Once we got our system down on how to open and get it placed, it worked well. If you are using to get someone into a minivan, you will want to consider their height. My aunt is about 4'9" so she could get through the door and sit without any threat of bumping her head on the top of the van if we went over a bump. She's heavy though and the ramp never felt like it would fall through. We took the back of the van seats out and used 4 tie down straps to make sure she was fully secured into place.
