It was really early when it arrived and I said to myself I wasn't gonna pour a proper one. The flavour sat for ages inviting me for more. I couldn't resist so poured a double. It recommends using this as a Base for a cocktail or mixing it with coke. I may have 1 with coke but honestly I feel it would be a waste. Great for cocktails that need a punchy Bourbon that wont get lost in the mix. There's plenty of nice Bourbons out there but I wouldn't go any lower in proof than this for cocktails. Supermarkets usually have it for around £30+ so it's nice to find it on desertcart at £24. It has some bite but is still pretty smooth for a higher proof too and as such goes down just as well on it's own from a Glencairn glass as it does mixed as an ingredient in a cocktail.
