Featuring a durable plastic tank with a foot-operated lid, it uses a septic-style leach-bed process to naturally break down waste underground. The system includes a 6-month supply of digester tablets and requires simple installation by burying the unit flush with the ground. Ideal for maintaining a clean, odor-controlled backyard while reducing landfill waste. ## Description The Doggie Dooley Pet Waste Disposal System works like a miniature septic tank, utilizing natural bacteria and enzyme cultures to reduce dog waste to a ground absorbing liquid. The Doggie Dooley requires some installation by digging a hole in the yard. Add waste from your yard on a regular basis adding water each time you add waste. Add 1 Waste Terminator tablet per dog each week. The Doggie Dooley is a neat, clean, convenient way to dispose of dog waste. The Model #3000 Doggie Dooley features a galvanized steel metal tank and has a plastic foot operated lid opener. The Waste Terminator is a non- toxic, mixture designed especially for dog waste. The Doggie Dooley is harmless to pets, lawns, and shrubs - an excellent way to dispose of dog waste safely and control odors. Note, like a home Septic system or Outhouse, there will always be dog waste in the Doggie Dooley. The waste breaks down continually, from a solid to a ground absorbing liquid. The Doggie Dooley will work in all soil conditions except HEAVY CLAY and HEAVY SAND. The Doggie Dooley works during warmer months when the air temperature is above 40°F. Doggie Dooley will not work during the coldest winter months. Model #3000 is our septic tank model and comes in one-size-fits-all, for use for up to 2 large OR 4 small dogs. Doesn't dog poo decomponse on it's own in a few days? I can't see what value this brings to the natural process.** A: I've had my unit for about 3 months and I love it! 2 boxers and a fair amount of waste. Each week I flush the tank by adding about 5 gallons of fresh water, add the new waste and enzymes. I use Rid X and sprinkle about a 1/4 cup of it on the fresh poop in the tank. By the end of the week it has mostly turned to mush and gets flushed down the inner tube to the 4 foot dirt hole under the tank. This is very much like flushing a toilet. The enzymes in the poop in the dirt hole continue to breakdown and eventually become part of the soil. Technically if everything is working correctly you should not ever need to move this unit. It is important to keep the tank full of water and the poop submerged as that minimizes the smell and bugs. Now if I could just teach my dogs to poop in that tank, I'd be all set! :o) **Q: Can this be used with cat feces?** A: Do not use this for cat feces. They contain the toxoplasmosis parasite, which can be contracted by humans. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/toxoplasmosis/symptoms-causes/syc-20356249 **Q: I've heard this doesn't do well in cold weather climates (below 40). Is this true?** A: The water in this metal bucket does freeze over rendering it useless in the cold winter months in Pennsylvania. Our frost line is 3’ below the ground surface. **Q: How does it work, where does the poop go?** A: Joseph is not giving accurate information. You definitely dig a 4 foot hole. In the pictures it even shows a diagram with the hole being 48 inches deep. ## Frequently Bought Together - Doggie Dooley 3000 Septic-Tank-Style Pet-Waste Disposal System - Doggie Dooley 36 Waste Tablets, White - Doggie Dooley 3116 Waste Terminator, 1-Year Supply , 12.69 Ounce (Pack of 1) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/671264-doggie-dooley-pet-waste-digester-septic-tank-style-in-ground](https://www.desertcart.us/products/671264-doggie-dooley-pet-waste-digester-septic-tank-style-in-ground) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
