Cover with compost. Place in a polythene bag and seal or place in a propagator. Germinate at a temperature suggested on the seed packet. When germination commences remove the container from the propagator or bag and place in a well lit area with a reduced temperature however protect from frost and protect from direct hot sun at this point. Keep the compost damp. When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 7.5 cm pots. Grow on in frost free conditions. Plant out when the young plants are growing strong and all risk of frost has passed.
