Happy cows - we use only organic grass fed cows milk Full support along your journey to gut health INSTRUCTIONS PREPARE THE MILK 1000ml pasteurized milk (whole milk works best). Boil and allow it to cool back down to room temperature before use. Do not use hot milk with the starter culture. Always cool it down after boiling. MIX IN THE STARTER Fill a jug with 1000ml of boiled and cooled milk. Stir the yoghurt starter into the milk thoroughly (but gently). A whisk works nicely for this. HEAT MIXTURE IN YOGHURT MAKER Pour the mixture into your yoghurt maker jar/pots and heat the yoghurt at 42 degrees Celsius for 8 hours (or until set). If not set after 8 hours, continue in the yoghurt maker, checking every 2 hours. It may take up to 18 hours to fully set. Please be patient. REFRIGERATE Once set, refrigerate the yoghurt for at least 2 hours to further enhance the setting process. It is now ready to eat. Always reserve enough yoghurt to re-culture the next batch. Use approximately one tablespoon of culture per 1000ml of milk. Re-culture from fresh yoghurt no older than 7 days for best results. This is an heirloom yoghurt that can be re-cultured indefinitely.

Easy to use But make sure you read instructions and watch a few videos so that whatever equipment you have , you know how to use it to make this yoghurt. In all the years I have been eating yogurt, tasting the yogurt I made with this culture makes me realise how real it is and without additives.
