Will this cable be suitable to be left outside?** A: as always it depends, what's the load, will the ends be exposed, will it be going across concrete or soil or grass, will there be footfall on top of it and most importantly the size of the local mouse population (the little blighters can chew through anything if the mood takes them). in short you can try but it doesn't meet UK regulation so if it electrocutes you or anyone else its your problem ;-) **Q: Where is it made?** A: Like 90% of products seem to be these days, it’s ‘Made in China’. **Q: Why haven't i received my item in over a month now** A: Sorry I don't know, it is cheap compared with others I have looked at, so perhaps it is in demand. **Q: is this product suitable for outdoor electric heaters** A: It depends on the power rating (Watts) of the heater. If the extension lead is fully unwound it will support an appliance of around 3000 Watts (3 KW). Worked brilliantly over the past couple of weeks, powering an electric chainsaw, a small concrete breaker and a cement mixer. No problems or short-outs at all. I found the reel easy to wind out and back in, over my 100ft back garden. Yellow cable makes it easy to spot and less of a hazard (trip or cut). As others have said, you can't use all 4 sockets at once - perhaps designer hasn't actually see a British plug? - but two sockets are fine for my DIY/gardening use.
