One thing to note, it does not work with induction, only because the base it too small to be recognized by the induction coils. I did the magnet test and while it is truly steel and induction ready, the base is just too small. I am going to enjoy using this for temperings for daals, chutneys, instead of using a small pan and mustard seeds jumping everywhere!

Excellent quality! I am very happy with this tadka pan, finally, I have bought a quality product. One thing to note, it does not work with induction, only because the base it too small to be recognized by the induction coils. Love this heavy duty tadka spoon/pan. I am not sure how it performs on an induction stove, but for our gas stove, it's been perfect. Its very well constructed so I am not concerned about it tipping over or the handle falling off with extreme hot oil in it.
