While many would think it expensive.. nearly a fiver for one nail file, it's a fine example of "you get what you pay for". Emery boards are a waste of time.. my nails are too strong & need a metal nail file, to keep them nicely manicured. Spent a fortune over the years.. trying different brands in the hope they don't smooth off after minimal usage, failed to find any that stood the test of time. If you have brittle or soft nails that bend easily.. this file wouldn't be suitable, I'd call it heavy duty. Definitely not suitable to carry round in your handbag.. for use in "nail emergencies" more for, a full "at home" manicure. Enough give for it to curve around the nail without feeling it's going to snap.. I prefer the metal handle as opposed to usual plastic, far more robust. Edges aren't sharp so no cutting into the quick of nails, like other ones have in the past.
