Those two chemicals are to filter out UVA rays. I didn’t see the chemical used to filter out UVB rays (para-aminobenzoic acid). So this spf has a small amount of UVA protection mixed in with other filters for UV rays. If you want UVB blockage look for the name of the chemical I listed above. I bought this stuff before I learned about skin and SPFs. **Q: Is this product water resistant? I see you advertise it as perfect for the beach.** A: I don’t know. It’s a good sunscreen while I’m working outside. **Q: Where is the spf 50 face gel?
