Prepare yourself for watery eye, tingling nose hair, burning throat, chest on fire, and the need for fresh air, during application. I always do this in my bathroom with windows open, a fan, and a vent; but really ...outside would have been better for this kit. I honestly wasnt sure I'd make it through the application and almost gave up. But i pushed through it. After it is processed and dried its more tolerable. Putting a straight iron to it caused a bit of a steam that was a bit rough but tolerable. I did not have any skin reactions. And once it was done and washed out, it left my hair smelling clean.
