It's really nice to be able to bring back a little of the ritual of putting on a physical copy of an album (but without the expense and hassles of vinyl). Helps make music listening a mindful activity again.Sound quality is more than decent for my purposes (listening at home and art studio). As mentioned by other buyers the sound is best when the lid is closed. Great that it comes with headphone jack and can be used as a bluetooth speaker too. Haven't really needed to use the remote control so far- but handy to have I guess.
