Review: Light, easy to use, pretty powerful drive - no it isn't real carbon fiber (obviously) - I like this staple gun a lot. I wasn't sure what to think from so many negative reviews but I've used it quite a bit over the last several months and so far so good. I'm mosting doing short 1/4 and 3/8 staples into good hard OSB and plywood, sometimes lumber. It's done really well and as long as I do my job, it does its job and the staples have not misfired or been left proud even on the really dense/harder OSB. Played around with some 1/2" on pine lumber and it did ok there, too, but that's when you might expect some errors here and there. Also played around with some brads and it did fine with those as well, but I won't be using it for that function (and it's a lot easier with those to have the brads inconsistent or go off course, compared to a powered nail gun). So yeah, no, it's not real carbon fiber. This oughta be obvious. It's a nice textured carbon fiber pattern on most of the plastic. I think at least some of the parts must be made with the common carbon-infused nylon plastic (or glass-infused, like most power tool housings have been made for the last 35 years or more). I don't see any mold marks and I'm not going to disassemble it to look for those, but if you see "PA6 / GF 30" or some similar mark on the plastics, there's your "carbon fiber"....it's just not a weave layup like people tend to think of but it's functionally accurate to say. The plastic on this does actually feel durable and sturdy enough to last awhile - I don't have any concerns about that (I also have not used it in subfreezing weather yet, though...). This is the exact same as the ones under the DeWalt and Bostitch brand names, btw. No appreciable difference besides color and brand name (this is common now with Stanley-Black & Decker, who owns all of these brand names now and freely interchanges them on same/similar products). Good staple gun, I like it a lot more than the old standby Arrow T-50 models (which have become kinda junky in recent years, sadly).
Review: DeWalt never disappoints - This 2 in 1 stapler is FANTASTIC. I am living in a rental apt in a desperate situation. Few months ago a leak in the roof that the landlord had years to repair and never repaired caused the drywall in the ceiling to collapse. I had to empty buckets of rain water that was coming down from the roof dark brown and smelly, every 2 hours, for days. (I live in Miami we had heavy rain for days that week). After a week and many, many buckets of rain water that I had to empty and replace - while I live 24/7 in excruciating chronic neuropathic pain due to spinal injuries that I suffered in an Uber car accident - the landlord finally paid to have someone patch up the roof but he never sent anyone to repair the huge hole in the ceiling of my apt. Long story short, the mold spores from that hole invaded my apt. I got sick, my cat got sick. Landlord raised the rent shortly before the ceiling collapsed and has been collecting the higher rent religiously every month but never even tried to talk about the huge hole in my ceiling after the roof was patched up. I bought some radiant insulating bubble foil and taped it on the ceiling to cover up the hole but duck tape would not stick to the ceiling for the humidity I think and the foil kept falling off. So I watched you tube videos to learn how people attach insulation (I am a single woman with no experience in construction/insulation). I learned that a stapler could help me attach the foil to the ceiling, a semi permanent solution. I looked up staplers on desertcart and went with a DeWalt tool without a second of hesitation bc I watched many you tube videos of people raving about the quality of DeWalt tools. The reviews left here on desertcart by people that bought the stapler before also informed my decision to buy this stapler. (Thank you all for posting your reviews). This stapler arrived 15 mins ago. I bought the bundle with the Arrow T50 staples, 10mm. I placed the staples inside the stapler and got on my dining table and reached up to the ceiling to staple the insulation to it, fighting against my cervical and lumbar pain. 5 mins job!!!! Now the radiant foil is on the ceiling and will go nowhere!!! This stapler saved mine and my kitty’s health!!! It is lightweight. Very easy to operate, pressing of the level to cause the stapler to eject the staple is not hard at all, I can hold the stapler in my woman’s hand. It worked fantastically well even if I was using it on the ceiling and therefore could not apply the weight of my body against the surface to be stapled. As other reviewers noted, the user must pay attention to release the level completely before pushing it again to release another staple. I did make that mistake a couple of times but the stapler did not jam and did not spit out staples on me. … simple mechanical action that leads to perfect results. No wires or complicated softwares to struggle with. I would give 100 stars to this stapler if I could.. now I am thinking how much more I can accomplish with my little jewel … worth every penny I paid for it! Thank you DeWalt!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Staple Gun for DIY Projects
*by D***D on July 16, 2024*

As a DIY enthusiast, I found the DEWALT Staple Gun with a carbon fiber body to be an excellent addition to my toolkit. This staple gun has been incredibly reliable for various tasks, from upholstery projects to securing wiring. The lightweight design is a major plus. The carbon fiber body makes it easy to handle, even during extended use, which has significantly reduced hand fatigue. This feature is especially useful when you’re working on larger projects that require a lot of stapling. The performance of this staple gun is impressive. It drives staples smoothly and consistently, which is crucial for achieving a professional finish. I used it recently to reupholster some dining chairs, and it made the job a breeze. The staples went in effortlessly and held the fabric firmly in place. One of the standout features is the 2-in-1 tacker capability. This versatility allows me to switch between different tasks without needing multiple tools, which has been a huge time-saver. However, I did find that loading the staples can be a bit tricky at first. It took a few tries to get the hang of it, but once you get used to the mechanism, it’s pretty straightforward. This staple gun has become my go-to for various DIY projects. It’s reliable, easy to handle, and versatile enough to tackle different tasks.
