Clair Nocturne is just a tad more intensely black than regular Versafine Onyx. It stamps equally fine lines, doesn’t smear, doesn’t stain photopolymer stamps and has the added unique quality that it can be heat embossed for an extended time after stamping. Don’t ask me how this Clair ink can do all those things, it’s near magic! Highly recommend the Versafine Clair Nocturne, and it’s a good idea to pick up a reinker at the same time because they can be difficult to find. **Q: Is this ink waterproof? Using it on suede leather as a tag on a beanie hat. I want to make sure that the ink doesn't run if rained on or washed.** A: Label says “Perfect for using watercolors to color stamped images.” **Q: Just opened up the versafine Clair in 2 different colors and noticed the ink pad was not inked all the way to the bottom of the pad.
