The shoulder straps are excellent and provide enough cushioning to comfortably support walking, rucking, and hiking. The belt clips are strong and provide good structure, which keeps the vest from shifting around too much during use. This makes it very effective for rucking and hiking. Running with it is not ideal and there is some bounce, but it can be tightened enough that it’s manageable. Realistically, no weighted vest completely eliminates bounce when running. The plates fit perfectly, stay snug, and remain securely snapped in place. The only thing I wish this vest had is more Velcro, but that does not affect its performance or my overall opinion.
