Despite this and careful attention to hydration levels and temperature,, there's been no germination after more than eight weeks! The seller cleverly puts that there is no guarantee against failed germination because they cannot control the conditions used for planting. Well, I can assure you that either the seeds are duds or the instructions are inaccurate. The seeds may have swollen slightly (or it could be my imagination) so I'm going to give it another few weeks and I'm prepared to update this review if I see any signs of life before Christmas.
