The colour is subtle and gorgeous, really brings out the green in my eyes and is less harsh than black.I find it doesn't run or smudge under my eyes throughout the day, yet is easy to remove with an oil based cleansing balm.The tube lasts a long time with daily use and does not dry out quickly, so you get good value for your money. I would like to see more bristles for better volume but overall a great mascara. I also have this in burgundy and they do give a different subtle lift for the eyes. Its my every day go to, though i use the waterproof black when its wet weather. The purple colour is great and goes on nicely. It really accentuates and lengthens lashes It's not waterproof so it will run a little if your eyes water. I've got very sensitive eyes and this mascara doesn't sting.
