It stays on well, beyond minor flaking, it's still there the following morning. It does require removal (won't just rub off), comes off nicely with micella water or eye make up remover, not so great with face wipes. Only complaint is it has just started feeling a little clumpy, after 3 months use 2 - 4 times a week. I don't experiment much, last one I swore by was volume million lashes, but this seems next level.
