It cost a bit more than the others and I can’t compare cause I’ve never had any other kind before but I can say this is decent. I don’t run out of battery and it works well, although I wish it was much louder as I don’t hear it often enough. It does have a volume button that can be adjusted. It can even vibrate so maybe I’ll try holding it in my apron while I clean to feel my timer.
