Review: Serves its purpose well! - I utilized this element in a bit of a different manner, instead of running it off of 240 AC, I tied it to a set of solar panels that make 220 DC. They only make 1100 watts but the resistance of this element (this was attempt #3) matched my panels perfectly! On a good day my 40 gallon tank will make 190 degree water!
