The battery life is phenomenal, even when it says it’s low the battery keeps on trucking (we just used the generic AAA batteries). This is an excellent product and is reasonable priced. I bought it when my husband was ill and I needed to be able to hear him no matter where I was in the house. Our house is approximately 2000sq feet and there was never a problem. Easy to work with larger buttons, battery life was good and unit was small which was good for us.
