Review: This stuff works excellent! - This stuff works excellent! Used it for a bunch of raw steel that I welded up for under-counter brackets, vintage ceiling lighting, etc... Was able to make it look super rustic, without the need to simply paint it black. Depending on how much you use, or how long you leave it on, will determine how dark/blackened the metal becomes.

Sold as a concentrate, can be mixed 50/50 with water for brush-on applications and 10% in water for immersion. Mix at stronger concentrations for faster blackening or for difficult to blacken surfaces.
- Creates a rich, vibrant black patina. Ideal for use on a variety of ferrous metals, including steel, iron, and cast iron. Does not blacken Stainless steels

- Artistic techniques allow for customization and unique patterns and designs. Can be applied by immersion, swab-on, or spray methods. Respiratory protection may be required if spraying the product produces a mist in work area.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great on a 1911 A1

I needed to sand down the grip safety on a parkerized 1911 A1 a bit as it dug into the web of my hand. Used the Presto Black Steel when I was done and it came out great. A little darker than the original, but you wouldn't really notice unless you were looking for it. Holding up well.
