The texture and plop of the patty is like a real burger. The crispy bottom is like a real burger. As someone whose been plant-based for a while it's nice to have options. This mix is so easy~I can be starving searching for food one minute~ and have a hot meal the next. So tasty it's as good my homemade ones without the chopping and mashing prep. Now I did pour the tin into a gallon ziploc, which it almost filled up. The lid is not airtight and the tin takes up a lot of limited cabinet space. But it is actually really good and full of flavor. The sodium is a little high, but I just follow it up with tons of water. If you mix it well, follow the instructions and let it rest for 15 minutes BEFORE cooking, the burgers will come out great. I added some cooked Spinach and Onions to the mix before cooking it. One persons review said they added a fried egg over top. I did the same thing and added some Haitian Pikliz on top...... DELICIOUS. For the kiddos, I just added Provolone Cheese and a little Ranch Dressing, placed the patties over a salad, and they loved it. The Hubster wanted his with Tuna Salad and cucumber slices..
