Not because of general dificullty, because the instrustions are unclear and tiny. I downloaded the instructions from the web site, however they are the same as the print, you can increase the size of the instructions at least. Pieces are difficult to work with as they are tiny. Some pieces had to be forcebly removed because they were installed "backwards". Need to manhandle the piece to pop out. This is not a kit for children, unless an adult is there to assist. The pieces also cannot bend in the slightest, needed to use several tools to force pegs and other pieces together. Needed several breaks to rest fingertips. Piece does not funcion as a working clock.
