In the past I have made 2 raincoat for my large dog, incorporating all kinds of extras that I thought would make the fit and function fantastic. Had I known I could have just purchased this gear I would not have wasted my time. Only improvement I would suggest is a wider belly belt. I got XXL for my 70 lb. Doodle. XL would have worked but I like the extra length over the rump.Several years later this raincoat is still on the job! The seam at the slit on the neckline for attaching the leash did start to come apart after about a year of use. I hand stitched it with dental floss as the area takes a lot of abuse from the metal snap on the leash and collar as well as your fingers trying to attach the leash. It is a little big for my boy, but I expected that when I bought it and will be making the under strap a little smaller so it holds to his body.
