You don't need to use an entire packet at once, just dispense some into a mixing container and add water in small amounts until you get the desired consistency - you can tailor how you'd like your gel. The final product is divine, it's smooth, slippery, cooling and luxurious feeling. I think this product is marketed towards professionals or people who for some reason need massive amounts of slippery gel for their *cough* "personal activities".
