I finally came to hard terms with what I want from a camp/ field hatchet, determined the specs, and eventually cared enough to see if this world offers anything like what I want. Well, this hatchet is it. Akin to a Norse bearded axe, this hatchet has the blade size & design, and overall length within my 14-16" range that I've been looking for. I'd spew hate if this was a bad deal - but it's actually a fine quality tool and an absurdly good deal. Human history took 6k years to finally make this axe. 'Nuff said. I'm pleased.
