I can walk short distances with a walker, but have found that I can move more freely in my home with a stool. I have tried 5 or 6 stools in the past, and although I found one I liked that was made for tattoo artists, the wheels were awful and kept coming apart. The wheels are very different on this stool than any stool I have had before and seem much more sturdy, similar to in-line skate wheels. I was hesitant about the seat shape on this stool, but it is very comfortable and stable. It does require you to sit on it in a particular way, but it is easy to target.
