I was tempted to buying the Fender Champion 100 watts version but was disappointed to find out their USB port is for firmware updates only. Such a waste of potential. Having said that, I have no use for a big piece of chunk that will oblige me to use microphones and room treatment if I want to get a professional tone out of it. The Champion 25 is good enough for my urge to experiment with the tones and Fender’s ecosystem. It’s easy to use, you can change the tones with a twist of knob. Given that, it’s very fun to play and straightforward enough. Very compact and so far, I’ve had it for a long time and no issues. Delivery was on point. I would recommend for students, but wouldn’t recommend it over a Boss Katana.
