Review: A wonder drug ! - I purchased this product based off the reviews, I had done some research on "Is it really hard to lose weight after gallbladder removal? " I had my gallbladder removed a year ago and since then I haven't been able to lose any weight I actually started gaining, And I was constantly having heartburn ,indigestion problems and none of the doctors warned me about the weight issues or indigestion issues once my gallbladder was removed, except that I would have to eat differently and told me I might want to look up some information on gallbladder diet. I discussed the weight issue again with my doctor and she put me on Phentermine.... still nothing. That's when the research started and I came across these capsules, between the reviews and everything I was reading it sounded really good so I bought a bottle to try it. I take 2 to 3 capsules at every meal depending on how starchy or fat content of the meal. if it's high in fat and starch then I will take three. But it definitely works!! My food started digesting like it was supposed to no more heartburn or indigestion and because of that I believe that this is what has helped me with the weight loss. When I started the bottle my weight was 226 I went back to the doctor yesterday for a regular checkup and I am down to 207. I am also now on my second bottle of the ox bile salts and I would say it took about three weeks to start noticing the weight was coming off. I take them with me everywhere, I will not be caught eating anything again without these pills to help with the digestion process. If you're missing your gallbladder and you're having trouble losing weight and you're constantly having indigestion and heartburn I highly recommend these pills!!

**Q: What does the taurine do**
A: Taurine has many physiological functions in the body, but the reason we have added it here is for its function of conjugating bile acids. Taurine favors the conjugation towards water-soluble bile as opposed to fat-soluble bile which is more toxic as well as stone-forming.

**Q: Does anyone have tricks on how to deal with the horrible smell of the supplements? The bottle smells bad just sitting on the counter!**
A: We changed our formula to a form of ox bile salts that is higher in cholic acid than our last one was. Our previous formula was around 45%, give or take. This new source is between 45 and 65%. The advantage of this is that cholic acid is a more water-soluble form than some other fat-soluble ones which are more toxic, relatively speaking. So this is a good thing. Unfortunately it comes with a smell. We are working on a way to reduce or mask the smell, perhaps with different capsules. Until we get it worked out, at least know that you are getting a superior form of bile salts.

**Q: is the product kosher ?**
A: Unfortunately, no. We have been unable to find a kosher or halal supplier for bile salts. However, these bile salts are purified and >40% cholic acid which supports the conversion of bile acids to a more water soluble and less toxic form.

**Q: Why do you have only 110 mg of bile salts per capsule. Isn’t a 500 mg ox bile supplement better?**
A: What I learned was you want to change up the dose periodically.  500 mg may be too much.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Was hoping for a game changer

So I bought this because I have had no gallbladder for over 23 years. No one ever educated me telling me needed something to help me. I have never really had issues with my stomach or going to the bathroom until this year(started wheat belly lifestyle). So I tried this. I am on my second bottle. I guess I feel slightly better, but I get diarrhea with this, and I'm talking bad. I have lowed my dose to maybe one or two pills and introduced a stronger probiotic first thing in the morning and that seems to help. The second bottle that I bought has a weird taste and smell compared to the first one. But not bad enough o stop taking it. Will give this 2nd bottle at try.
