The 61" width is normal for a roll of fabric. These cuts aren't suitable for sofa upholstery, as the description says. It's a thin, thick, corduroy fabric, not thick or heavy. I'm sorry they don't sell it by the continuous yard. Because of these cuts, I wasted money and leftover fabric on each piece they sell. That's why I had to place two orders of three pieces because there were no other options. Not suitable for projects like armchairs or sofas, but chairs are.
