The corkscrew sand anchor worked very well. We spent a breezy day (up to 24 mph gusts) at the beach and it stayed upright (although it was struggling at the higher gusts and we weighed it down with our cooler). We had to adjust so the wind blew against it and before we tilted it, it did invert once but was not destroyed. I am not sure this would last a full week or season of beach days but for occasional beach trips it works.
