I hesitated to buy due reviews that said the base was rocky, movement was very stiff and item was not mad of steel. My stand was made of good sturdy metal, it never falls over or moves unintentionally. Yes it arrived 'stiff' in the joints but there is an allen key supplied to loosen it to your liking. Finally, one corner of the base was minutely warped but I may have caused this because the first thing I did was to try and open the stand to fit my ipad and it was very very stiff. I then realised I needed to loosen the joints first which I did accordingly. The corner that had become very slightly warped I tried to bend back with brut force. The base felt Iike it had not moved, was so solid, but in fact it had done just enough and my Tablet Holder stands perfectly. Would I buy again, most definitely. Review: Very helpful! - Very sturdy!
